Logistics Apprenticeship Coach
Part time
£125 – £175 per day (dependent upon experience)
Sheldrake Training Ltd (STL) are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Coach/Assessor to deliver the Express Delivery Operative standard initially in the West Midlands with the potential to expand across the rest of England.
You will be required to:
- Coach, assess, learners on the Express Delivery Operative (EDO).
- Carry out learner inductions, initial assessments and reviews in units in accordance with STL standards.
- Be prepared to update the apprenticeship manager monthly with respect to completions, suspensions, PEDS, gateways and reviews.
- Create and implement action plans, including booking and tracking of FS courses, to support achievement within the planned end date.
- Provide support and assistance to learners as they go through their Functional Skills.
You will need:
- Proven record of work in logistics (essential)
- Qualified Coach/Assessor (essential)
- Excellent communication, ICT and administrative skills (essential)
- A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships (essential)
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills (desirable)
- Hold a FS L2 in maths and English (or equivalent) (desirable)
- A recognised teaching qualification e.g. L3 AET, PTLLS (desirable)
