This is a rare opportunity to work and train with an elite yard, rider and horses. The horses are a mixture of youngstock, world-class dressage horses and livery horses. As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
This is in a rural setting with no public transport. This is a non-riding position.

When does this apprenticeship start?
Wednesday 3 June 2026 for 12 months.
What We Can Offer You
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work:
All aspects of horse care, e.g. grooming, mucking out, trimming and clipping, plaiting, lunging, health care, feeding, assisting with customer care.
- Handle young fit competition horses
- Help with the preparations for training and competing
Qualifications and Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Salary expectations
£16,640 a year.
