What is this Standard?
The Level 2 Diploma evening class is an exciting and intensive course run over two evenings per week for one year. This course will help prepare you for a career within the electrical installations industry. We have a team of lecturers and workshop instructors who are approachable, knowledgeable and have experience of working in the industry. Within this course, you will learn how to install wiring containment such as cable tray, galvanised and plastic conduit and trunking. As well as learning how to install different cables such as flat twin and earth, singles, SWA and SY. This will simulate domestic, industrial and commercial builds.
Course Information
This qualification forms part of an industry-recognised course for electrical apprentices. It covers the skills and knowledge needed by an electrician (installation or maintenance). To demonstrate occupational competence, the learner must also complete the AM2S.
