What Drives Lou Tucker To Success
Lou Tucker’s Journey so far in her words:
“I started my apprenticeship by finding the online work a bit hard, but then with the proper support from Alice, it got easier, and I really enjoyed completing it. Although I already had a lot of practical skills, what I liked about the apprenticeship with Sheldrake is that I got to work on an International event yard and learn so much more than I imagined I would. I’ve also had the opportunity to move out of home, make amazing friends, and have fun!”
I didn’t think, in my wildest dreams, that I would get a distinction, and I would like to thank my employers, Lucy and Padraig, as well as Alice, for all of the help and support that I have been given. This qualification will help me so much moving forward with my career, and I would recommend Sheldrake training to anyone who’s thinking about working with horses.
Thoughts from her Equine Coach Alice Hill
Throughout Lou’s apprenticeship, her coach Alice has been by her side, willing her on when times have been challenging and, even more, celebrating when an incredibly successful result has been achieved. Coach Alice recognises that not every apprentice can achieve a distinction, but for her, the determination and pure graft have paid off for Lou.
